Who we are
LABSPOTS LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company in the United States, trading as Remaneta, is the controller of personal information described in this policy. Contact: privacy@remaneta.com.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as our processing does not meet the thresholds in Article 37 of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation. If that changes we will publish the appointment here.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, we do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we have no advertising, profiling or automated decision-making of any kind.
Legal bases we rely on
- Consent: for analytics and any non-essential storage on your device. You may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew.
- Legitimate interests: for responding to enquiries you send us and keeping a record of that correspondence. Our interest is in running a business and answering the people who contact us; we consider this to have a minimal privacy impact, since you chose to write to us and control what you tell us.
- Legal obligation: where we must retain something to comply with law.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions: an email provider to receive and send correspondence, a hosting provider that serves this site, and, only where you have consented, Google Analytics for aggregate usage measurement. We will disclose information where we are legally required to.
International transfers
We are established in the United States, so information you send us is processed there. Where information is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the EU–US and UK–US Data Privacy Framework where our provider is certified under it, and otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You may ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry correspondence: up to 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
- Applications for roles: up to 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
- Analytics: retained by Google for the period set in our configuration, currently 14 months.
- Consent preference: stored in your browser for 6 months, or until you clear it.
Your rights
If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests you may object, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds not to.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what we collect and why, to obtain a copy, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and to limit use of sensitive information. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.
To exercise any of these, write to privacy@remaneta.com. We will respond within one month, and will ask you for enough information to be confident we are talking to the right person. You may use an authorised agent.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you may complain to your local supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office; in the European Union it is the authority in your country of residence. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Security
We keep correspondence in access-controlled systems, use encrypted transport, and limit access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affects your rights.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, say so on the site.
